If you need to dispute a charge on your Secured Card, you must fill in and email the attached chargeback form directly to DC bank at refreshchargebacks@dcbank.ca within 30 days of the transaction date.
As a courtesy to our clients, Refresh will cover the $10 dispute fee per transaction charged by DC Bank (mentioned in the attached form). Rest assured, there are no extra charges to you for these investigations.
Kindly note, the investigation period can take up to 120 days for DC Bank to determine how to identify these charges. During this time, you're still responsible for making your scheduled payments as the charges are still under review and haven't been determined as fraudulent yet. It's important to maintain your payments on the card throughout this time, to ensure your payment history will remain in good standing to the credit bureau.
Once DC Bank has completed their investigation and the transaction/s are found to be fraudulent, you will be refunded for the related charges.
