For added security, the PIN provided with your card is hard wired to the chip. If you’ve lost or forgotten your PIN, we will need to issue you a replacement card. It usually takes 4-6 weeks for the replacement card to arrive in the mail.
There are two options to proceed:
- If you’re certain there is no security risk of your PIN being found and used, we can keep your current card open while you wait for your replacement card to arrive. This option would allow you to continue using your current card for online transactions and small point of sale purchases using the Tap function.
- If you’re concerned your PIN could be found and used by someone else, we can disable your card. However, this means you won’t be able to use your card while you await the replacement.
